1996

PENELOPA EOOD was established as one of the first nut production and packaging factories in Bulgaria.

1998

Оvi & Sari EOOD was established as a company for production of traditional home-made sweets.

2003

ELiT-P EOOD was established in Plovdiv as a company for processing and packaging of nuts and dried fruits.

2008

PENELOPA EOOD sold Penelopa brand to PepsiCo, together with its established distribution network.

PENELOPA GROUP holding was established

2010

An office and a warehouse was opened in Sofia.

2011

OVI & SARI became part of PENELOPA GROUP.

2012

ELiT-P became part of PENELOPA GROUP

2013

ELiT-P took marketing and distribution of OVI & SARI portfolio.

2016

ELiT-P acquired KAKINO TANE brand and became the official importer of the Japanese product. An office and a warehouse was opened in Burgas.

2017

Nut production moved in a new production facility in Sliven. Offices and warehouses were opened in Sliven, Pleven and Shumen.

2019

Company expanded its distribution network and opened an office and a warehouse in Blagoevgrad.

2020

Company introduced new flavors of crispy coated peanuts under ELiT Nuts brand to complement its best-selling product in this category, the classic Crispy Coated Peanut.

2021

ELiT-P launched a new product range – nut bars, under brand ELiT NUT BAR. Company opened an office in Veliko Tarnovo.

2022

The company expanded its presence in export markets.

2023

The company had successfully launched three new products under Ideal brand – Ideal Strawberry and Ideal Honey Cakes classic and with cocoa couverture.

2024

The company started the year with the launch of an entirely new product group - nut, protein bars under the brand PROELiT BAR.
